Poems, Notes, and Drawings is a growing collection of new work and old, a kind of living testament I am trying to shape into a durable edition of what I feel are my best, most inspired efforts. While the project is subjective in nature, and might aptly be termed a journal or diary, I hope I possess the objective focus necessary to avoid the most common pitfalls of online publishing: instant gratification, self-absorption, and outright vanity. I have grappled with these beasts before, and while I might not be completely immune, I am wary. Therefore I neither exaggerate nor pose when I say I do not pretend this website is important to anyone but me. Making it public simply reflects the joy I take in doing what I love. That feeling, I know is worth sharing.
