Stirring the Ashes

Which is the greater fallacy — that we can know what is coming, or that we can be prepared?

Nothing dies. In its own time and at its own pace, everything becomes something else — the leaf, the cloud, the body, the star, the stone. What we see is a graceful dance and fleeting references to energy.

We claim we are able to meet any challenge. Here is one: to say nothing negative, and to harbor no negative thoughts.

*

The question is not, Who started the fight? It is, When will we choose to end the violence in ourselves?

*

If you would see justice done, understand that there is no need for justice where there is love.
